My name is Cheryl Sinner Stewart, and I am a licensed speech language pathologist, with over 23 years of experience. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and am licensed to provide speech and language services in the state of Texas. I graduated in 1996 with a B.A. in Linguistics from the College of William & Mary, and received my M.Ed. in Communication Disorders from The University of Virginia in 1999.

I grew up in Bloomfield NJ, and I currently live in Rockwall, TX with my husband Jon, who works in IT. We have 2 dogs (Joy & Maggie) and 2 cats (Asher & Chili). In my free time, I like to write, swim, kayak, lift weights, walk, pray, spend time with friends and family, and do community service. I am a member of Lake Cities Community Church in Rowlett, The Rowlett Lions, and Rowlett Strong.

I have worked as a speech language pathologist for Wylie ISD, Rockwall ISD, Hopewell SERRC (Ohio Region 14), and the South Dearborn School Corp (IN). I have also worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist for Rockwall ISD, and as an Assistive Technology Specialist for Hopewell SERRC. My areas of specialization and interest include: , AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), fluency (cluttering/stuttering), executive function/ADHD, adult neuro-cognitive disorders (aphasia, dementia, TBI), socio-emotional communication (social language, interpersonal communiction, selective mutism), and clients with multiple disabilities. I am a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I earned the Spero Ally of Stuttering Seal in April 2022 and am an affiliate of the ASHA Special Interest Group 4 for Fluency and Fluency Disorders.
